Field Rehab Project

North Manchester Hooksett Little League has applied for and been awarded a grant through the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation for some improvements at our North Manchester baseball complex.  This grant only covers a small portion of the work that we are looking to accomplish.

To support our efforts, the Dyn Legacy Fund has made a significant donation to the project as well as made an additional $11,000 Donation Match Challenge.  If NMHLL can raise $11,000 towards the project, the Dyn Legacy Fund will match the $11,000!!!

Please help us raise the funds so that we can get the $11,000 match from the Dyn Legacy Fund.  Any amount will help, even if $10 will make a difference.

Phase 1 of the rehabilitation project includes:

  • Rehabilitation of the minors infield to also convert it to a dual use field which will allow us to start an intermediate division for 13 year old players.  Currently 13 year old players do not have an opportunity to play Little League baseball as the field requirement is different
  • Repair and replace dangerous and damaged fencing throughout the facility
  • Parking lot expansion and improvements to improve pedestrian safety
  • Creation of a family spectator area behind the clubhouse adjacent to the fields to facilitate a safer place for families to watch the games instead of in the parking lot.
  • Creation of pitchers “bull pen” adjacent to both major and minors fields
  • Relocating the batting cage to behind the clubhouse to improve safety so that players don’t have to run across the busy parking lot
